Bring new App Store reviews into your team's channel
Connect an App Store URL, choose a channel, and give new reviews a place beside the other updates from your app.
Your users leave feedback where they found your app. Checking the store can become one more tab you need to remember.
Appkeepr brings newly observed public App Store reviews into a channel. You can read them in the console and receive a push when you are one of that channel's recipients.
Here is how to set it up for an app such as Nastea.
Add your App Store URL
Open the nastea Project and add its public App Store URL in the Reviews setup. Appkeepr resolves the store listing and starts checking for reviews.
There is no App Store Connect team to connect and no private key to upload. This feature reads public reviews. Your Project can already contain other activity; adding a store listing gives its reviews the same product context.
The country in a store URL helps identify the listing. It does not mean Appkeepr only follows reviews from that country.
Choose a channel
Select a channel such as reviews. That is the destination for new-review notifications, not a second review archive.
Put the people who act on feedback on the channel's recipient list. A small team might include everyone. A larger Workspace can keep pushes focused while leaving the review history readable to its members.
You can follow and save reviews before choosing a notification channel. Once you select a channel, future newly observed reviews can produce notifications.
Start with a quiet first sync
Connecting an existing app should not fill your phone with old reviews. The first successful sync establishes a baseline without sending notifications for the reviews it finds.
After that, a review first observed in a successful sync can become a message in the selected channel. Changing the channel does not resend the existing history. An update to a previously seen review is not a second new-review notification.
This distinction keeps setup quiet and makes a new message meaningful.
Read reviews in context
A useful review notification shows the Project, the App Store Reviews source, the rating, the reviewer name, and the review text.
For example, a review notification for Nastea could read:
New review · 5/5 · alexdev
We tried it on date night and ended up playing for an hour. So much fun!
In the Reviews view, filter by Project or rating and search the text. The original review and its territory stay visible; Appkeepr does not silently translate it or guess its language.
Public feed limits
Public review feeds expose a limited window. They are useful for following feedback, but they are not a guarantee of complete historical coverage or delivery of every new review.
Checks are periodic rather than a direct real-time event stream from Apple. A review falling out of the feed does not prove that it was deleted. Appkeepr keeps reviews it has already observed.
Use the channel to notice feedback sooner, then investigate the pattern. One unhappy review can identify a bug; several mentioning the same screen can tell you where to spend your next hour.
