Troubleshooting

Fix API errors, missing messages and phone notifications.

A request failed

Check the HTTP status and the response's code and message.

StatusWhat to check
401Use a valid, active workspace API token.
404Check that the channel or project exists and its name matches exactly.
409Reuse the original content for that idempotency key.
429Your workspace has reached its message limit. Check Retry-After.
503 or a network timeoutRetry with the same key and content.

See the API reference for all response statuses.

Message limit

Monthly message limits reset on the first of the month in UTC.

At the limit, new API requests return 429. For integrations and monitors, check Setup & status or the source table for rejected messages.

Monitor checks continue. Rejected alerts are not sent when the limit resets.

No phone notification

Check membership

Sign in to the same workspace on your phone.

Check the device

Enable notifications in Appkeepr and your phone's system settings.

Check connectivity

Check that your phone is online, then look for the message in Inbox.

An event cannot be retried

receipt_payload_expired means the failed event is too old to retry. Trigger a new event in the provider.
